Program Intro
In the Doctoral program, the study duration is set between two to seven years. Students must accumulate a minimum of thirty-eight (38) credit hours to graduate. Among these credits, eighteen (18) are designated as required courses. These include twelve (12) credits for the doctoral dissertation, four (4) credits for seminar courses, and two (2) credits for "Academic Writing". Additionally, the program offers six core courses, which are divided into three domains. Each domain provides two courses, and students are required to select one course from each domain:
The remaining 14~18 credits can be chosen as electives. Students also have the flexibility to select up to 6 credits of specialized courses from other graduate institutes within the university based on their areas of expertise. Each course requires a passing grade of 70%. Furthermore, students must meet the university's English graduation threshold, pass three qualification exams, and fulfill a research publication requirement of 10 points. For more detailed information about these requirements and any other related matters, please consult the "Office of International Affairs" or the department office.
